The Alternative Proteins Fundamentals Programme (APFP).

The APFP is part of the Protein Diversification Learning Pathway (PDLP) and represents the second level designed to build solid foundations and get a professional start in this rapidly evolving field.

Over 10 weeks, you’ll engage in live, interactive sessions, explore alternative proteins from multiple perspectives, and connect with a global cohort of peers.
Whether you’re a student, young professional, or career changer, this course equips you with the knowledge, practical insights, and inspiration to pursue meaningful careers in protein diversification.

Participation & Workload

Preparation
~2.5 hrs/week (mandatory core readings + optional resources.

90 min live discussions, quizzes, breakout rooms, and plenary wrap-ups.

Assessments
Mostly in-session tasks (group or individual) and one final reflection-based essay.

Language
English at B2 level.

Facilities
A computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection (around 30 Mbps), plus a quiet room or office where you can actively speak and participate during the sessions.

Earned upon completing the assessments and attendance requirements (at least 7 sessions).
